
Welcome to Woodleigh Residential College situated in the historic township of Herberton in the Atherton Tablelands. The College has a long and distinguished history of being a comfortable, safe and family oriented residence to students who enrol to study at partner schools. Woodleigh is managed under the auspices of the Uniting Church in Australia (Queensland Synod) and is administered by Congress Community Development and Education Unit Ltd (CCDEU Ltd) of the Uniting Aboriginal and Islander Christian Congress.
As Woodleigh is a non-profit organisation, fees and charges are kept to a minimum to enable parents and guardians to take advantage of Austudy/Abstudy entitlements. The College is managed by the Board of (CCDEU Ltd) while the responsibility for the day to day running and care of the students is delegated to the College's operational staff.
Woodleigh exceeds in serving the diverse pastoral, academic and social needs of both male and female students from local and regional Queensland communities in safe, comfortable and supportive surroundings within a Christian framework. Much of Woodleigh College's appeal lies not only in its enviable location but in its dedicated staff who are committed to ensuring students reach their full potential in every thing they do. This dedication is evidenced in many Woodleigh students who have made the transition to adulthood with a clear vision for their future and indeed the future of their communities.
