Shalom Christian College has four Community Liaison Officers (LOs). The LOs work with students' families, Communities and staff to support students. They monitor student attendance, liaise regularly with parents/carers and Communities and work together with the College's Parents and Community Committee to help young people focus on their education.

• Supervise students in the school grounds

• Direct students to classroom each lesson

• Speak with students, families and Communities about student's progress

• Support school staff with student behaviour concerns

• Support families and Communities to work with school staff to support their young people

• Support young people who may need to attend court or who have Dept. of Youth Justice orders to complete

• Assist with student assessment on enrolment

• Make the student and staff ID cards

• Report to Centrelink about student attendance
