Milbi Constructions is involved in more than just construction - we also help build futures for Aboriginal and Islander people by providing valuable apprenticeship training.
Milbi Constructions was born out of a vision to employ Aboriginal and Islander men and women to carry out construction work associated with Shalom Christian College in Townsville and in doing so, gain recognized qualifications in trades such as Carpentry, Boilermaking, Fabrication and Horticulture to name a few. Over the last decade Milbi Constructions has willingly indentured thirteen people to apprenticeships and traineeships. This is a statistic we are very proud of and will continue to pursue in the years to come. This aspect of training and nurturing is at the forefront of the Company's ideology and confirms and strengthens its vision of empowering Indigenous people to become authors of their own development.
You can demonstrate your corporate social responsibility by engaging Milbi Constructions for your next project while helping Indigenous apprenticeships secure a valuable future in the building industry.
